Schedule: Thursday through Sunday; 7AM - 5PM 

Pay: $16.00-$18.00, DOE $1,000 Sign-on bonus

General Summary: The Wash and Detail Technician operates wash bay equipment such as the Super Scout Gantry system, pressure washers, hand brushes, etc. to clean the exterior of trucks and trailers. Clean engine compartments and undercarriage as needed. Ensure that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner as to best represent Pride Transport. Essential Job Functions:

• Safely hook up tractor and trailer ensuring that the 5th wheel is properly latched
• Safely move equipment into and out of the wash bay
• Safely operate the Super Scout Gantry wash system
• Perform weekly and monthly gantry system maintenance
• Perform monthly pump room maintenance
• Report any deficiencies to shop foreman
• Drive and park equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provides excellent customer service assistance as needed
• Log equipment washed & detailed
• Attendance is essential job function
• Perform other task/duties as assigned by management

 

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Detail equipment interior
• De-identify equipment
• Steam clean engine compartments and undercarriage
• Restack boxes/pallets

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Able in work in cold work environment
• Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
• Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy
• Customer service orientated
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
