Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: Hourly wage of $18-$22 (DOE) + Discretionary Monthly Department Incentives.

General Summary: The Human Resources Assistant provides general support to the HR team and helps with day-to-day tasks to keep things running smoothly. This role assists with benefits, employee paperwork, and other HR activities to help ensure company policies and processes are followed. This person must represent Pride Transport’s culture, i.e., The PRIDE Way.
- Scan and file HR documents and employee records
- Provide reception backup support as the primary alternate
- Assist with ISO documentation and training coordination
- Create and assemble employee benefit booklets
- Help plan and support company events
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices
- Serve as a backup in the creation of driver new hire files
- Track and acknowledge employee anniversaries
- Assist with completing Section 1 of I-9 forms
- Audit and organize medical files for compliance and accessibility
- Assist with efforts for office-based recruiting
- Create bi-weekly company newsletter and weekly employee announcements
- Help with training department tasks
- Provide backup support for MLOA/FMLA administration
- Prepare and distribute 401(k) plan notices
- Manage and distribute company-wide HR documents
- Support bereavement processes and related communications
- Provide backup support for processing terminated employees
- Enter new employees in Navigator system
- Send CIP forms and I-9s to oncoming drivers
- Create and maintain new hire medical files
- Process and update all employee address/name changes
- Other clerical duties may be assigned to support the HR Department as needed
- Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the job

- aPHR certification is preferred, but not required
